NATURAL ALLYL MUSTARD OIL
We produce 90% Allyl mustard oil (Allyl isothiocyanate) from Oriental Mustard seeds (Brassica juncea).
Allyl mustard oil is a strong flavoring agent for food products: mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup, wasabi, hot sauces.
Volatile oil of mustard is a shelf-life extension agent or anti-spoilage agent in meat, fish, and poultry products. It controls growth of Listeria, E. coli, Salmonella aureus and the natural microflora.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) designated it as GRAS (Substances Generally Recognized as Safe).
Allyl isothiocyanate is a high quality raw material for pharmaceutical and chemical industry.
It is used as: fungicide, insecticide and dog, deer, repellent.

Solubility in water - approx. 0,2% by mass, in 70% ethanol 7-10%. Soluble in any proportions in 95% alcohol, benzol, diethyl and petrolein ethers, carbon sulphide.
Smell detection concentration 0,6 mg/m3, permissible concentration 6,12 mg/m3. Irritates skin and mucous membranes, possess vesicant and tear-running properties.
